Simply open it and click the Delete button.Īfter doing these steps, you'll want to send the invoice to your clients again then have them pay it. Next, delete the invoice and recreate it (make sure to have a copy of the details before doing this). Find the active invoice template, then right-click on it.Go to the Lists menu, then choose Templates.To start off, delete and recreate the invoice template. Before doing anything else, ensure your QuickBooks Desktop is updated to the latest patch. If that's not the case, did you also encounter the error message? If so, this is likely an issue with the template or the transaction form itself (bad form data or corrupted template issue). Have them clear their browser's cache then view and pay the invoice again. If you're able to view it without the error message, then you'll want to reach out to your clients. Edit the To field to your own email, then send it. On the invoice screen, simply check the Email later check box. To confirm this, send the invoice to your own email and open it. A full or corrupted cache storage can cause issues within a certain webpage (like what your clients experienced when viewing the invoice). This is likely an issue within their browser.
